SPEAKERS

Greg Perry

Prior to becoming President of Thirdmill Seminary and a member of the leadership team at Third Millennium Ministries, Dr. Gregory R. Perry served on its Board of Directors for twenty years. Greg taught as a visiting member of the faculty of Christ College Sydney before serving in various roles at Covenant Seminary between 2003 and 2017. An ordained Presbyterian minister, Greg has served several local congregations in the United States. He earned his M.Div. from Reformed Seminary, his Th.M. from Columbia Seminary, and his Ph.D. in New Testament from Union Theological Seminary. Greg continues to serve on the adjunct faculty of the Missional Training Center in the areas of New Testament and congregational outreach. He is the author of The Drama of Discipleship. Greg is married to Darlene with whom he loves to travel, attend baseball games, and hike.

Ben Chen

Rev. Ben Chen is the Thirdmill Global Network Regional Director of East & Southeast Asia and the formal Director of Chinese Language at Third Millennium Ministries since 2002. He is a founding Pastor of Orlando Chinese Evangelical Christian Church from 2004 to 2015. Rev. Chen is an ordained minister of the PCA, is a missionary to East Asia since 2015, and has extensive ministries in the US and Asia Pacific by preaching in various gatherings among Chinese churches and by training church leaders in various seminaries. Dr. Chen obtains his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary and studied in the Doctor of Ministry program there. Rev. Chen and his wife XG Pan live in Florida, and have two married children and two grandchildren.


陈彪牧师现任美国Thirdmill事工东亚及东南亚区域主任，曾任该机构中文制作部主任多年。自2001年参与奥兰多华人福音教会的植堂并曾任主任牧师十多年（隶属美洲长老会）。陈牧师曾在东亚从事多年的宣教事奉，并经常在北美、亚太地区和中国大陆带领特会，宣讲福音，教导圣经与神学课程。蒙恩归主被召奉献后，在奥兰多改革宗神学院获道学硕士，完成教牧学博士课程。陈牧师与师母潘旭光居住在美国佛州，有成婚的儿女一双，并孙辈在侧。

Kyle Essary

Dr. Kyle Essary grew up in the United States, although he has also lived in Yemen, China, and for most of the past decade—Malaysia. He is married to Jamie, and God has blessed them with four children—Andrew, Abby, Anna, and A.J—three of whom were born in Malaysia! He serves as a lecturer in biblical studies for four seminaries in SE Asia, but primarily with MBTS. He was the church planting pastor of Covenant Baptist Church in Melaka and his family currently serves at Gospel City Church in Kuala Lumpur.
