FAQ

Is this program only for church planters?

The Incubator is a one-year program to serve, train, and develop church planters and church leaders who promote church planting in cities.

Is this open to sisters-in-Christ?

Yes, it is.

Will I be able to join if I have a fixed work schedule?

We plan to have a group that meets on Saturdays for 8 hours or so, once a month. As we are unable to have in-person training, there will be some prerecorded sessions that you can watch ahead of time, at your own convenience. There will also be opportunities to interact with the trainers and the cohort in real time via an online video conferencing platform. A schedule will be released when you sign up for the program. We encourage full attendance, wherever possible. 

English is not my first language; can I do this in Mandarin?

We currently do not have any Incubator in Mandarin. But if you are interested to plant church and prefer sessions in Mandarin, please write to events@gospelcitynetwork.com

How much time is required to do this program?

Besides the live sessions (where we meet virtually or in-person) and the videos which you can watch any time, we encourage setting aside time for reading, reflection, and journaling i.e. to work on the projects given during the sessions).

How much does the program cost?

Do I have to buy any text book for the course?

We will be providing pdfs for additional reading. We also recommend getting Center Church as a text book for the course.

Where will this be held?

While we are unable to meet in-person, live sessions will be conducted online. When we can meet in-person, we will likely be meeting at a place in the Klang Valley that is close to public transport system and with parking facilities. We will keep you informed of the venue nearer the time.

I would like to sign up for the course, but my schedule is a little tight this quarter, will you be having another one soon?

We do intend to provide new intakes for the Incubator. In the meantime, you are also invited to join us for open short, independent gospel-centered sessions as well as conferences we host.
