1.Growing Participation in Gospel-Centred Training Programme Engagement

Please pray for our scheduled programmes in the English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and Parakaleo (Women) tracks, that God would form faithful leaders and healthy churches.

  • Participation: Pray that the Lord would draw those he is preparing to serve their churches and cities, and that participation would lead to deeper conviction, character, and clarity for ministry. 
  • Johor Bahru (JB): Pray that the Johor Bahru Mini Intensive, our church planting and revitalisation training, would bear lasting fruit in the lives of participants, across the English, Mandarin, and Parakaleo tracks.
  • Wisdom: Pray for wisdom and adaptability as we navigate necessary changes to our plans, trusting in God’s perfect timing for when events should run.

 

2. Revitalisation of Churches

This season, we are walking alongside local churches through ReVision trainings. Pray that God would bring deep renewal in these communities as leaders and congregations are shaped by the gospel. 

  • Fresh Hearts: Pray that the leaders would be spiritually renewed and centred on the gospel, leading their churches with growing unity and direction.
  • Perseverance: Pray for those who have previously completed ReVision, that they would persevere in the hard work of revitalisation.
  • Fruit: Pray for long-term fruit that results in healthy, gospel-shaped congregations.

 

3. Greenhouse Publishing

Exciting things are on the horizon! Please pray for our publishing work, that these efforts would serve the long-term health and maturity of the church across Malaysia and beyond.

  • New Magazine: Pray for wisdom and discernment as we prepare and launch our first Greenhouse Magazine, that it would develop writers and faithfully reflect how God is at work across diverse contexts in Southeast Asia.
  • Praise: We thank God for the publication of our first locally written children’s book, Called To Go: True Stories of Faith and Hope from Asia.
  • Local Voices: Pray that God would raise up a new generation of local writers and thought leaders. Ask for wisdom as we build a platform that nurtures their gifts for the strengthening of the church.
  • Ongoing Work: Pray that the completion of translation projects in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, that these resources would bless the city by making gospel-centred teaching accessible to more people.

 

4. Malaysian Churches

Stand with us in praying for a movement of unity among Malaysian churches throughout this year, that leaders and congregations would labour together for the gospel in their cities.

  • Collaboration: Pray for key collaborative events such as the Klang Valley Church Planting Dialogue and Faith and Work Dialogue.
  • Leadership: Pray that church leaders would participate with humility and openness, fostering trust and a shared vision for the wider church.
  • Movement: Ask God to form a gospel movement that crosses denominational lines, serving the good of the church and bearing faithful witness to his Kingdom.

 

5. Faithful Gospel Preaching

Let’s intercede for the pulpit ministry across our nation, that God would use faithful preaching to build up his church.

  • Kingdom Partnership: Pray for fellow organisations that are dedicated to equipping preachers. Pray that God would bless their efforts and prosper their work as we labour together in the gospel.
  • The Word: Pray for a flourishing of gospel-centred preaching that faithfully opens Scripture and applies it to the hearts and lives of God’s people.
  • Preachers: Pray that our preaching tracks would equip preachers to handle God’s Word with clarity, conviction, and compassion.

 

6. Church Planting Goals

Partner with us by praying for the long term vision of planting 40 churches in KL and 80 churches in Malaysia by 2040.

  • Healthy DNA: Pray for churches shaped by the gospel, marked by wise leadership, clear doctrine, and faithful discipleship.
  • City Vision: Pray that existing churches would grow in love for their cities, offering prayer, people, and resources for new church plants.
  • Desire: Ask God to stir a deep desire among churches to plant churches that faithfully proclaim the gospel and reach those who do not yet know Christ.

 

7. Faith and Work Initiatives

Pray that local churches would faithfully shepherd their members in the marketplace.

  • Gatherings: Lift up the Gospel at Work cohorts, the Faith and Work Dialogue, and informal “Yumcha” fellowship sessions, that these spaces would foster mutual encouragement and practical obedience.
  • Missional Living: Pray that workers would grow in love for their colleagues and neighbours, and in confidence to bear gospel witness.
  • Integration: Pray that marketplace leaders would be empowered to live out their faith with integrity, wisdom, and courage in the ordinary pressures of work.

 

8. GCN and Greenhouse Team

Please cover our core team, trainers, and coaches in prayer as they serve together, that their work would be marked by faithfulness and dependence on God.

  • Wisdom & Unity: Pray for discernment in setting priorities and for unity across our training and publishing teams.
  • Joy in Service: Pray that the Lord would grant both fruitfulness and deep, sustaining joy in the work that is given.
  • Wellbeing: Pray for the protection of our team and their families, for a growing dependence on Christ, and for physical, emotional, and mental health.

 

9. Provision of Funds

Please pray with us as we depend on God to provide the resources needed to sustain this work.

  • Provision: Pray for the provision for all initiatives, including church planting, training, translation, and publishing, that each area of work would be adequately resourced.
  • Generosity: Pray that God would move his people to give generously, so that the work of the ministry continues with stability.

 

10. Support for GCN

Pray for our endurance and joy in Christ as we continue in this mission.

  • Serving the Servants: Pray that GCN would remain faithful in serving those who serve the church, providing care, training, and prayer support
  • Lasting Impact: Ask that God would use these initiatives to effectively equip and multiply leaders for long-term gospel impact in our beloved country.
