1. Registration for Programmes

Pray for good registration responses and the right participants for all training programmes (English, Mandarin, and Parakaleo), especially the Mini Intensive in Penang (March 2025).

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” – Proverbs 16:3

 

2. Revitalisation of Churches

Pray for participants’ hearts to be renewed by the gospel and for pastors to lead in gospel-shaped ways.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” – Hebrews 10:24

 

3. Greenhouse Publishing

  • Pray for Greenhouse Publishing’s projects and translation efforts.
  • Pray for smooth project delivery, quality publications, and effective distribution in Southeast Asia.

“So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty.” – Isaiah 55:11

 

4. Malaysian Churches

  • Pray for collaboration with churches, denominations, and parachurches to meet ministry needs effectively.
  • Pray for a gospel movement in the city and a culture of collaboration among churches.

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” – Ephesians 4:3

 

5. Faithful Gospel Preaching

Pray for faithful Gospel preaching from the pulpit of churches in Malaysia.

“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season.” – 2 Timothy 4:2

 

6. Church Planting Goals

Pray for the planting of 40 churches by 2040 in Kuala Lumpur and the planting of 80 churches in Malaysia by 2040.

“Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” – Matthew 9:38

 

7. Faith and Work Initiatives

Pray that local churches will be dedicated to shepherding their congregations in integrating faith and work. 

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” – Colossians 3:23

 

8. GCN and GHP Team, trainers, and coaches

  • Pray for wisdom in refining content, developing trainers, and fostering unity among training teams.
  • Pray for the team’s effectiveness, efficiency, and joy in their work.
  • Pray for wisdom in task prioritisation and responsibility allocation.
  • Pray for the well-being of team members and their families, church involvement, personal faith, and health.

9. Provision of Funds

Pray for the provision of adequate funds to support the ongoing work of Gospel City Network and Greenhouse Publishing.

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

 

10. Support for GCN

Pray for GCN to be able to serve those who serve the church, especially in providing training for the multiplication of leaders.

“And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” – 2 Timothy 2:2
