From the Mandarin-speaking cohort, one participant shared:
“这次培训不仅在理念上加深了我对 “福音更新 ”的认识,更重要的是,我在实际应用层面有了更清晰的理解。同时,我也很高兴遇见了许多志同道合的传道人和牧者。在学习的过程中,我自己的心再次被福音更新,得到了许多提醒和鼓励。此外,我也接触到一些非常实用的资源,相信能帮助建立更健康的教会。”
“The training helped me go deeper in understanding gospel renewal—not just in theory, but in how it’s lived out. I also met many like-minded pastors and preachers. Along the way, my heart was refreshed by the gospel again—it was both encouraging and convicting. I also came across some really helpful resources for building a healthier church.”
Alvin, a church-planter who participated in the English cohort reflected:
“All the sessions were great and full of helpful content, but the session on the Gospel Renewal Cycle really challenged me to rethink my journey as God’s servant and how I should do ministry.
Yes, I’m using the Renewal Cycle. It helps me a lot in reminding me of my sonship in Christ and in repenting from my sins.”
Carol, who joined the Parakaleo Basic Intensive (a special cohort for women), shared:
“Through the Parakaleo Basic Intensive, we were brought back to the core of the gospel.
I’ve been given a set of tools to help me put on a gospel lens—to see myself and others more clearly, and to help others understand that they were created to be loved by God and to have a relationship with Him.
Although the tools were introduced and demonstrated in a very intensive way over three days, God also brought together a group of sisters who were willing to be vulnerable and share so authentically. That community helped us learn how to apply the gospel tools we were being taught.”
Across both the English and Mandarin tracks, the stories echo a shared theme: By going deeper into the truth of the gospel, we experience heart-level change that brings renewal to life and ministry.
