GOSPEL ABOVE ALL
How can the church thrive? Only when the gospel is at the center, when it is of first importance (1 Cor 15). When the Gospel is above all else, it affects everything in our lives including the way we approach preaching and mission.
J.D. Greear encourages believers to be saturated with the gospel, to marvel at the work of Christ and not let anything replace the gospel in our lives.

8-Session Bible Study. The gospel isn’t just an entry into the Christian faith, it is the entirety of the Christian life. This Bible study leads groups to a greater awareness and practice of gospel culture, gospel mission, gospel renewal, and gospel unity. The most pressing need for Christianity today isn’t a new strategy or an updated message; it is a return to elevating the gospel above all.
Drawing on passages from the Church’s definitive Gospel treatise, Paul’s letter to the Romans, J.D. Greear unpacks the essential aspects of the Christian message, showing both ‘secular’ and ‘religious’ people what the gospel is and how it addresses our most pertinent questions. The gospel, as he explains, is not just about life after death; it’s about reclaiming the life we’ve always yearned to live.
